Well I’m back using Ping.fm, and my main reasoning behind this move is convenience. I am a member of many social sites, not just Facebook, and Twitter, but Myspace, LinkedIn, Geeks, etc. Also many blog sites which I use Ping.fm to send my status as micro blogs to these sites. TweetDeck is limited in this, as of the current version it only supports Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. That just is no help to me anymore, of course I do still you TweetDeck to monitor my tweets.</p> <p>Ping.fm is a great service, and has been since it started up, on the iPod Touch I use Pingle, which really helps me out when I’m in a Wi-Fi area. Also the ability on the site to group many of the sites together (#Status, or #All) Makes it even easier for me to send what I want, to exactly where I want.</p>]]></content:encoded></rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://mike.tecnicle.com/blog/2010/5/2/bump-for-iphone-and-android.html"><rss:title>Bump for iPhone and Android</rss:title><rss:link>http://mike.tecnicle.com/blog/2010/5/2/bump-for-iphone-and-android.html</rss:link><dc:creator>Mike Copeland</dc:creator><dc:date>2010-05-02T23:41:02Z</dc:date><dc:subject></dc:subject><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div style="padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: none; padding-top: 0px" id="scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:68923be7-d3a0-41f9-ac84-fb28ffd2b3db" class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent"><div id="e81ec0a7-9f58-48b2-ad74-739a02d468c5" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; display: inline;"><div><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ir2bg253ag" target="_new"><img src="http://mike.tecnicle.com/resource/WindowsLiveWriter-BumpforiPhoneandAndroid_10D92-?fileId=6773273" style="border-style: none" galleryimg="no" onload="var downlevelDiv = document.getElementById('e81ec0a7-9f58-48b2-ad74-739a02d468c5'); downlevelDiv.innerHTML = &quot;&lt;div&gt;&lt;object width=\&quot;294\&quot; height=\&quot;245\&quot;&gt;&lt;param name=\&quot;movie\&quot; value=\&quot;http://www.youtube.com/v/2Ir2bg253ag&amp;hl=en\&quot;&gt;&lt;\/param&gt;&lt;embed src=\&quot;http://www.youtube.com/v/2Ir2bg253ag&amp;hl=en\&quot; type=\&quot;application/x-shockwave-flash\&quot; width=\&quot;294\&quot; height=\&quot;245\&quot;&gt;&lt;\/embed&gt;&lt;\/object&gt;&lt;\/div&gt;&quot;;" alt=""></a></div></div><div style="clear:both;font-size:.8em;">chris.pirillo.com</div></div> <p>&#160;</p> <p>I am sure that you all know by now what bump is, at least that’s what I am assuming. Well I recently started school last week, I am taking Network Systems Support (NSS). So far it’s just the basics, which is pretty easy mind you. In fact most of the questions I really don’t need my book for, but there are times when I do read the book. Most of this stuff I already knew, I pretty much taught myself most of my knowledge. I say pretty much because I had a neighbor in Florida that taught me about the hardware basics, and most of the DOS and Windows Operating System.</p> <p>So with school going on I’m pretty much occupied. There is so much I would love to talk about, and would love to share. However budget alone is what keeps me from doing so, I am also afraid of becoming a tech reviewer only. I really want to be able to help people in the computer area. If someone has a problem then I want to be able to help. Why shell out money you don’t have to fix a possible minor problem. Because I can tell you this, most electronic repair places will rip you off. Especially if you have little knowledge of computers.</p>]]></content:encoded></rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://mike.tecnicle.com/blog/2010/4/19/feedback.html"><rss:title>Feedback</rss:title><rss:link>http://mike.tecnicle.com/blog/2010/4/19/feedback.html</rss:link><dc:creator>Mike Copeland</dc:creator><dc:date>2010-04-19T05:00:01Z</dc:date><dc:subject></dc:subject><content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Based on the feedback that I have gotten from people on the Kindle for PC application, and from what I'm seeing there are many ways in which it does come in handy. I like it all, and hope to see a lot of it catch on in time. </p><p>Now see this is what I like about feedback. I get to hear how you and others use technology, or at least what I post about. I'm serious when I say that I would like recommendations on topics and iPhone, iPod touch apps. Unfortunately I don't own an iPad, but that will come in time. I have gotten one comment on YouTube that asked me why I don't just buy a camera stand. Well the answer to that is quite simple, I'm a cheap ass. Actually no the real reason is because every time I am about to buy something I want I get into a conflict with myself over spending the money. Plus I'd rather focus on getting a flip camcorder, so I can switch to HD video. With that I bid you all adieu.</p><p>Oh before I forget, I'm posting this from my iPod touch using the Squarespace app. Making this my first mobile post.</p>]]></content:encoded></rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://mike.tecnicle.com/blog/2010/4/1/remasters-amp-updates.html"><rss:title>Remasters &amp;amp; Updates</rss:title><rss:link>http://mike.tecnicle.com/blog/2010/4/1/remasters-amp-updates.html</rss:link><dc:creator>Mike Copeland</dc:creator><dc:date>2010-04-01T18:32:09Z</dc:date><dc:subject></dc:subject><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div style="padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: none; padding-top: 0px" id="scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:d8a3b348-f5cd-40a8-9dd3-be99b2be80a9" class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent"><div id="ca2975f0-9d93-443c-979a-2c259a2de9d3" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; display: inline;"><div><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5W6Avs_9WgE" target="_new"><img src="http://mike.tecnicle.com/resource/WindowsLiveWriter-ae706d1bd7ca_F227-?fileId=6374116" style="border-style: none" galleryimg="no" onload="var downlevelDiv = document.getElementById('ca2975f0-9d93-443c-979a-2c259a2de9d3'); downlevelDiv.innerHTML = &quot;&lt;div&gt;&lt;object width=\&quot;306\&quot; height=\&quot;255\&quot;&gt;&lt;param name=\&quot;movie\&quot; value=\&quot;http://www.youtube.com/v/5W6Avs_9WgE&amp;hl=en\&quot;&gt;&lt;\/param&gt;&lt;embed src=\&quot;http://www.youtube.com/v/5W6Avs_9WgE&amp;hl=en\&quot; type=\&quot;application/x-shockwave-flash\&quot; width=\&quot;306\&quot; height=\&quot;255\&quot;&gt;&lt;\/embed&gt;&lt;\/object&gt;&lt;\/div&gt;&quot;;" alt=""></a></div></div></div> <p>&#160;</p> <p>Lately I’ve been going back and watching some of my videos, and to be honest have found many of them painful to watch at times. The videos that I’m talking about are mainly from the beginning, and lack personality to the degree that it makes the video unwatchable. Now that’s me talking about my own videos, and if I’m saying that imagine what others are saying.</p> <p>Also on another note videos have slowed for a different reason than last, I have re-enrolled in school. Right now I’m trying to get situated in this house, and get ready for my entry exam Friday. If all goes well I should be fine, so wish me luck. Other than that fewer posts, and fewer videos should also show that I have a life, as pale as I am I know it’s hard to believe, but I do go outside lol.</p> <p>For the videos being posted now, they are what I’m going to be calling Remastered videos. They will have the same title as the original, but will sport Remastered in parenthesis.</p> <p>The following videos are the one’s I will be redoing:</p> <ul> <li>Blogging Effect </li> <li>Drinks </li> <li>What’s Your Favorite Gadget? </li> <li>Evolutionary State of Video </li> <li>What DVR Do You Use? </li> <li>What’s Your Favorite Type of Music? </li> <li>Games and Consoles </li> <li>Video Game Music VGM </li> <li>What is your favorite movie or movies? </li> <li>Browsers </li> </ul>]]></content:encoded></rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://mike.tecnicle.com/blog/2010/3/25/a-personal-reflection.html"><rss:title>A Personal Reflection</rss:title><rss:link>http://mike.tecnicle.com/blog/2010/3/25/a-personal-reflection.html</rss:link><dc:creator>Mike Copeland</dc:creator><dc:date>2010-03-25T23:29:52Z</dc:date><dc:subject></dc:subject><content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://mike.tecnicle.com/resource/WindowsLiveWriter-APersonalReflection_FCD2-?fileId=6282012"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; margin: 0px 15px 10px 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="2010-03-25 02-09-36.080" border="0" alt="2010-03-25 02-09-36.080" align="left" src="http://mike.tecnicle.com/resource/WindowsLiveWriter-APersonalReflection_FCD2-?fileId=6282013" width="204" height="244" /></a> </p> <p>My personal feelings and emotions I try to keep to myself, and many times I am unsuccessful. I am one of those people who wear their emotions on their sleeves. Throughout my life I have always tried to make since of the world around me, not you’re world but my own. This post is a very personal one because I am revealing a part of me I try to hide. A part that makes me the loving, caring, person I am.</p> <p>If it wasn’t for my Grandmother who I call mom I don’t think I would have very much emotion. She taught me to love, and to respect life, to cherish it dearly. To help people who need it, and to take up for those who can’t defend themselves. I am 24 years old, and am far wiser than most my age, my grandfather who I call dad also taught me a lot over the years. If you haven’t caught on yet my grandparents raised me.</p> <p>He taught me self control, and ethics. He showed me how to be responsible, and though my grandparents who I refer to as my parents have made mistakes, it is their mistakes which I have learned from.</p> <p>This is something that I’ve needed to share, I know by posting this that it will spread. Sometimes it’s my emotions that keep me from posting, and making videos. I know it sounds wimpy, but that’s just who I am. Many people don’t know this, since I’ve only posted it once on Geeks. My greatest fear is not being able to protect those closes to me.</p>]]></content:encoded></rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://mike.tecnicle.com/blog/2010/3/25/the-windows-phone.html"><rss:title>The Windows Phone</rss:title><rss:link>http://mike.tecnicle.com/blog/2010/3/25/the-windows-phone.html</rss:link><dc:creator>Mike Copeland</dc:creator><dc:date>2010-03-25T20:22:11Z</dc:date><dc:subject></dc:subject><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div style="padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: none; padding-top: 0px" id="scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:ed40ffbc-acd9-486f-9949-b1748cbf9143" class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent"><div id="d6b08b73-9739-4ae6-8e30-3e69ca7a9aa4" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; display: inline;"><div><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9F4QJK1wFs" target="_new"><img src="http://mike.tecnicle.com/resource/WindowsLiveWriter-TheWindowsPhone_D6F6-?fileId=6279589" style="border-style: none" galleryimg="no" onload="var downlevelDiv = document.getElementById('d6b08b73-9739-4ae6-8e30-3e69ca7a9aa4'); downlevelDiv.innerHTML = &quot;&lt;div&gt;&lt;object width=\&quot;316\&quot; height=\&quot;263\&quot;&gt;&lt;param name=\&quot;movie\&quot; value=\&quot;http://www.youtube.com/v/j9F4QJK1wFs&amp;hl=en\&quot;&gt;&lt;\/param&gt;&lt;embed src=\&quot;http://www.youtube.com/v/j9F4QJK1wFs&amp;hl=en\&quot; type=\&quot;application/x-shockwave-flash\&quot; width=\&quot;316\&quot; height=\&quot;263\&quot;&gt;&lt;\/embed&gt;&lt;\/object&gt;&lt;\/div&gt;&quot;;" alt=""></a></div></div><div style="clear:both;font-size:.8em;">chris.pirillo.com</div></div> <p>&#160;</p> <p>Ah, the Windows Phone, a phone for the average Windows user. Well that’s my view anyway, and yes I’ve seen the phone in action. Well one of them at least. To be honest as I always am, I still prefer an iPhone, and am not completely impressed with the features on the Windows Phone. </p> <p>For starters the home screen looks cluttered and unorganized, the large icons look like crap to me. Now I would try one just to see how the performance actually measures up, and to be fair using one would be the only way I can pass a final judgment on this peace of hardware. If you ask me it’s like Microsoft is always late to the game with some of it’s ideas. They denied that the iPhone was a real competition, and yet here’s Microsoft trying to play catch up with Apple.</p> <p>Over the past two and a half years the iPhone has proven itself amongst the masses, and has shown that not even it’s clones can touch it. However there is something that the iPhone, Windows Phone, and all the others including the Palm-Pre have in common…They aren’t perfect, and all have flaws. I am interested in seeing how the Windows Phone does over time. Will it be a flop, or will it be a success? </p>]]></content:encoded></rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://mike.tecnicle.com/blog/2010/3/9/a-new-beginning.html"><rss:title>A New Beginning</rss:title><rss:link>http://mike.tecnicle.com/blog/2010/3/9/a-new-beginning.html</rss:link><dc:creator>Mike Copeland</dc:creator><dc:date>2010-03-09T02:18:57Z</dc:date><dc:subject></dc:subject><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div style="padding-bottom: 0px; margin: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: none; padding-top: 0px" id="scid:5737277B-5D6D-4f48-ABFC-DD9C333F4C5D:7c6cb1ea-a6b2-47ca-90a7-c366998a00cd" class="wlWriterEditableSmartContent"><div id="1da126fa-81d5-4efa-8c11-494413b7039a" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; display: inline;"><div><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTIBij30bkE" target="_new"><img src="http://mike.tecnicle.com/resource/WindowsLiveWriter-ANewBeginning_142E3-?fileId=6060543" style="border-style: none" galleryimg="no" onload="var downlevelDiv = document.getElementById('1da126fa-81d5-4efa-8c11-494413b7039a'); downlevelDiv.innerHTML = &quot;&lt;div&gt;&lt;object width=\&quot;308\&quot; height=\&quot;257\&quot;&gt;&lt;param name=\&quot;movie\&quot; value=\&quot;http://www.youtube.com/v/eTIBij30bkE&amp;hl=en\&quot;&gt;&lt;\/param&gt;&lt;embed src=\&quot;http://www.youtube.com/v/eTIBij30bkE&amp;hl=en\&quot; type=\&quot;application/x-shockwave-flash\&quot; width=\&quot;308\&quot; height=\&quot;257\&quot;&gt;&lt;\/embed&gt;&lt;\/object&gt;&lt;\/div&gt;&quot;;" alt=""></a></div></div></div> <p>&#160;</p> <p>Moving to a new place can be difficult at times, and there’s the time it takes to pack everything. Personally that’s the only thing I hate about moving. The end result is however being somewhere new, and I know that’s something I love. You get to meet new people and you get a fresh start. Kind of like when you do a clean install of your computers Operating System. </p> <p>That’s how I feel now, I’m in the new house and I feel great. Most of my updates have been slow the past month because of this move. I am happy that I can now share this with people online. Today internet was turned on and I had a heck of time setting up wireless, but it all got done tonight. How else would I be typing this and posting here on tecnicle.com.</p> <p>With Wifi back my iPod is once again able to connect to a router and is ready to once again be my trusty assistant. I have applications that I really would like to share, but have not been able to because of the lack of Wifi. Not anymore so I will be doing some new videos in days to come. My website is still mike.tecnicle.com, and in videos in the past I’ve always ended with mike.tecnicle.com. However now I feel that is beginning to be a mouthful, so I’ve decided to start using tecnicle.com. It’s the same site and redirects you automatically to mike.tecnicle.com.</p> <p>So with all that said it’s great to be back, and in a new place. Many more posts to come in the next few weeks. Well if you’ve heard about the 8.8 Magnitude Earthquake in Chile then it looks like you will have even less time to do everything. Apparently the planet itself is off set on it’s axis, now I know what some people are thinking but no we’re not talking about the polar axis here. We’re talking about the earths figure axis, “What the heck is that?” well in a nutshell it’s the axis that the mass of the planet is balanced.</p> <p>According to NASA officials the figure axis is off set from the planets polar axis by 33 feet. To me that is amazing, now let me go on the record here saying that I am deeply saddened by the human loss from this quake. All I can say is that my prayers are with these people. I’ve spent most of my life learning about this planet, and so I get really excited when things like this happen (Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Volcanoes, etc.) though I do wish that people didn’t have to get hurt. However this is nature and some things just can’t be helped.</p> <p>It really makes you wonder though doesn’t it? Haiti was in January and Chile was in February. So will another big one strike this month?</p>]]></content:encoded></rss:item></rdf:RDF>
